This is a total replacement for the factory setup that is renowned for cracking and blocking the factory filter that can lead to a expensive turbo rebuild . The 200 series teflon braided hose can withstand the high tempreture around the turbo & manifold area along with a filter that can be easily pulled apart and cleaned . The filter has a stainless element unlike cheap imatations so if you have a XR6 Turbo this is the kit for you.
